Free breast screening in Accra

· 2 min read

This is a companion to Making room for care. It lists free breast screenings in Greater Accra this October that I could trace to a published announcement. Each place links to its source.

Last checked: 21 October 2026. Plans change, so check with the organisers before you travel. A screening is a check, not a diagnosis. If you notice a lump or any change in your breast, see a doctor, whether or not an event is running near you.

Market outreach in Madina, Kasoa, Nungua and Makola

The Adunyame Foundation and Hadassah Network Outreach are bringing free screening to market women. They have already visited Okankor and Dome markets. Visits to Madina, Kasoa, Nungua and Makola are planned, but no dates have been announced. Source: Citi Newsroom.

About the ride links

The Uber buttons open the app with the destination already set. Bolt and Yango don’t publish a link that can do this, so open either app and search for the place name. The Google Maps links work on any phone, and Maps can show ride options too.

If you know of a free screening that should be here, or one that has been cancelled, please get in touch.
